Council welcomes young people from across the Shire aged between 12 and 25 to join our youth crews.
The crews meet regularly with Youth Development Officer Annette Walton to create opportunities and connections for young people in their community and across the shire.
Members are given the chance to organise local activities, advocate for youth-focused needs in their communities, learn leadership skills, connect with other young people in their communities and give direction to Council on youth-based needs and issues.
Being a part of the crew is an opportunity to get involved, feel empowered and form a sound foundation for you to develop your resume and network with professionals.
The crews also come together on a regular basis to converge their ideas from across the Shire.
