Suppliers are invited to submit a quotation directly to the relevant Council department.
Expression of Interest (EOI)
Suppliers are invited to submit an expression of interest directly to the relevant Council department. Our Procurement Policy ensures that our practices promote competitive rates and transparency, support local business and environmental sustainability and achieve value for our ratepayers. Council’s e-tendering website provides a web-based tool that enables Strathbogie Shire Council to procure goods and services over the internet. It is a simple, secure and efficient way for managing tendering activities and quotations.

Request for Tender – waste and recycling services – closed
Resource Recovery Collective – Hume
Twelve councils and alpine resorts in the Hume region recently issued a regional collaborative Request
for Tender for waste and recycling services, as part of the ‘Resource Recovery Collective – Hume’.
The Request for Tender included the collection, transport and processing/disposal of commingled
recycling, glass, food organics and garden organics (FOGO), and general waste.
In line with the Victorian Government’s circular economy policy, this initiative seeks to support the Hume region to;
• Embrace the principles of a circular economy to achieve strong environmental and economic
outcomes.
• Remain at the forefront of waste management innovation and service delivery.
• Achieve best outcomes for people and communities.
This Request for Tender has now closed. The evaluation process is now underway and is expected to be
completed by the end of December 2022.
