All welcome to attend the Violet Town Community Resilience Meeting
The community is invited to attend a Violet Town Community Resilience Meeting which includes a free dinner.
The meeting is a chance to learn more and have your say about community emergency preparedness and recovery.
Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Cr Laura Binks said the meeting would provide a chance to learn about and discuss the risks we face, the impacts, and how can we be more resilient.
“There will be an opportunity to identify community skills and resources to help prepare and recover from emergency events; and explore avenues for further information or skill building,” Cr Binks said.
Event details are as follows:
- When: Thursday 24th November, 6pm
- Where: Brian Hayes Football and Netball Club Pavilion, Violet Town
- A free meal will be provided. Please RSVP with any dietary requirements, to lbecke@murrindindi.vic.gov.au
This community meeting is part of the LEAPing into Resilience project, a joint initiative between Mansfield, Strathbogie and Murrindindi Shire Councils and is funded by the Australian Government.
