Work update: Harry’s Creek Rd

Strathbogie Shire Council expects to reopen both lanes of traffic on one of the damaged areas on Harry’s Creek Rd as early as next week.

Director Sustainable Infrastructure John Harvey said the immediate issues on the site closest to Violet Town had been addressed temporarily.

“We are now evaluating tenders for the repairs to the simples slips, and for a detailed design to address the more significant slip of the eastern side,” Mr Harvey said.

“The site will be closely monitored for further issues and a permanent repair will be carried out subject to funding in next year’s budget.”

The site on the eastern side, will continue to be reduced to one lane.
