Arrangements over the Holiday Period 24/25
Customer Service Centres
Strathbogie Shire Council Customer Service Centres in Euroa and Nagambie will close at noon on Tuesday, 24 December 2024 and reopen at 9am on Thursday, 2 January 2025.
Kerbside Collection Services
There are no changes to the kerbside collection schedule this year. Residents in all areas of the shire can continue using their regular bin collection days as usual.
Transfer Stations
Our transfer stations will close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Operating as per our usual opening hours on all other days.
Please remember our transfer stations are also closed on days of Total Fire Ban and catastrophic fire danger.
Maternal Child Health
The Strathbogie Shire Maternal & Child Health Program will be closed from noon Tuesday, 24 December, 2024 and will reopen for normal operating hours on Thursday, 2 January, 2025.
The centre will be available for limited appointments on Friday, 27 December with priority being given to newborn babies and/or babies that are required to have additional consults.
GV Libraries
Euroa and Nagambie Libraries will close at 2pm on Tuesday 24 December. Violet Town will close at their usual time of 12.30pm.
Euroa, Nagambie and Violet Town Libraries will be closed on all public holidays, Wednesday 25 (Christmas Day), Thursday 26 December (Boxing Day), and Wednesday 1 January (New Years Day). Usual opening hours apply to all other days over the holiday season.
Avenel Library will be open 10am to 2pm on Tuesday 24 December, with staff in attendance. The Library will then close, to re-open on Thursday 2 January.

Visitor Information Centres
The Nagambie VIC is closed from Tuesday, 24 December to Thursday 26 December, 2024 and Wednesday 1 January, 2025. This facility is open from 10am to 4pm on all other days .
The Euroa Hub is closed on Wednesday 25 December, 2024. This facility is open 10am to 2pm on all other days.
