‘Marvelous Making’ all our local libraries

20 Jun 2022

Goulburn Valley Libraries has a great variety of ‘Marvelous Makers’ craft sessions these school holidays at libraries located in Strathbogie Shire.

From macramé to paper folding and game making, there is something for everyone.

GV Libraries will also celebrate NAIDOC Week (July 3-10) with craft activities, colouring and more.  Pick up an activity program at either Euroa, Violet Town or Nagambie libraries or go to www.gvlibraries.com.au/holidays to take a look.

#TakeHome craft packs are back again.

Inside every pack are four different crafts including two NAIDOC Week activities.  Each pack includes templates and instructions.  These activities are great for all ages and can easily be made by younger children with a little bit of grown-up help.

You can pick up your craft packs at Euroa, Violet Town or Nagambie libraries as well as the Mobile Library in Avenel during open hours from Friday 24 June, 2022 until Sunday 10 July, 2022. Templates will also be available to download and print via: www.gvlibraries.com.au/holidays

There is also a very special ‘Meet Up with the Mobile Library” series of visits scheduled during the holidays.  Bring a picnic blanket, a jacket and some snacks, and join Andre at the Mobile Library to make pom pom poppers and floating ball toy.

Visit the GV Libraries website and you will also find #StayAtHome Storytime videos that each have a craft activity to download, as well as access to many other great resources such as Storybox Library, Kanopy Kids, BusyCode, BorrowBox, LOTE Online for Kids and so much more.

The popular Rhyme & Story Times will also run throughout the holidays.
