Join Council’s administrator for one-on-one discussions
Strathbogie Shire Council is giving residents the opportunity to ‘Talk to the Administrator’ with a series of sessions throughout the Shire.
The initiative will see Council’s Administrator Peter Stephenson hitting the road and making himself available in townships across the municipality to answer questions regarding his appointment.
Residents can register to meet with Mr Stephenson in several townships throughout the Shire. Bookings are required to secure your time slot – there is a maximum of 15 minutes per person.
Mr Stephenson said it was a chance for residents to ask any burning questions or clarifications following the announcement by Local Government Minister Melissa Horne.
“We know there are lots of people in the community who would like to chat about this decision and what it means for Council,” he said.
“I’d encourage anyone who would like to attend to do so. I’m more than happy to discuss any concerns with the community to ensure this transition is well understood.”
Mr Stephenson noted his interim appointment, announced by the Minister for Local Government, is set until March 6, 2024.
“We understand these sessions run past the advised appointment period, however, we will be sure to keep the community posted in relation to arrangements beyond this period,” he said.
Council is also available to book in times outside of the dates below – so please don’t hesitate to phone us on 1800 065 993 if you would like to do this.
