Join local artist and printmaker Angus Cameron at the Nomad Art Workshop Space in Avenel for one-day introduction to print making.
During the workshop Angus will guide each participant through the process of making a stencil print. Tuition, workshop facilities and materials will be provided along with morning and afternoon tea.
Suitable for both beginner and experienced artists.
What is provided: Equipment & materials including Hahnemuehle specialty printing paper, printing plates, inks and consumables.
What to bring: Lunch, safe work attire, cutting board, Exacto knife, (optional) other items to be listed closer to the event.
Angus will introduce techniques for creating prints using the stencil technique.
Stencilling is a method for replicating designs by applying ink over cut-out areas or objects such as plants and leaves onto the paper.
A fun day of drawing, cutting, collaging, creating and experimenting, inking and printing await you.
