How you can help bushfire-impacted communities

Council acknowledges the strong interest from our community in helping those affected by the bushfires. While these intentions are greatly appreciated, Council or our partnering Councils cannot accept donations of clothing, goods or prepared food. Prepared food donations will be disposed of due to State health requirements.

The most effective way to help is through the official State Government donation platform GIVIT. GIVIT ensures that assistance goes directly to those who need it most by matching donations to specific requests from emergency services and impacted households.
