Bush Nippers at Lake Nagambie

We’re thrilled to announce that Bush Nippers is coming to Lake Nagambie this January! Bush Nippers is a unique inland adaptation of the popular coastal nippers program, designed to teach children aged 5 to 14 years essential lifesaving and water safety skills in open water environments. Walk against Family Violence at Nagambie Lake

Strathbogie Shire is once again partnering with Respect Victoria to support the 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence, with a community Walk Against Family Violence at Nagambie Lake on Saturday 6 December. The walk will start at Buckley Park BBQ rotunda (57 Blayney Lane, Nagambie) at 7.45am on Saturday 6 December and will be held in conjunction with the Nagambie Park Run. Afterwards, participants will enjoy a free coffee and sweet treat at the Nagambie Community Market. Participants are encouraged to wear orange. Avenel Spring Concert 2025

Avenel is hosting a very special spring concert – the Flinders Quartet, one of Australia’s most loved chamber ensembles, will be performing at the Avenel Memorial Hall. Playing with them will be the young Lumina Quartet and together they perform Mendelssohn’s Octet in E flat Op. 20.
