Strathbogie Shire Council is delighted to celebrate the Victorian Seniors Festival this October, with a month of activities designed to connect, create, and celebrate our senior community.

Now in its 43rd year, the Victorian Seniors Festival is one of the state’s biggest celebrations, recognising the contributions of older Victorians while providing plenty of opportunities for fun, connection, and learning.

This year’s Strathbogie program includes:

Morning & afternoon tea provided.

Mayor Claire Ewart-Kennedy encouraged seniors across the Shire to get involved.

“This year’s Seniors Festival is all about connection, celebration, and having a good time together. Whether it’s enjoying live music, a classic film, or learning something new at the cybersecurity workshop, there’s something for everyone. We warmly invite our senior community to join us.”

The Seniors Festival is supported by the Victorian Government and local partners including Riverlinks, Greater Shepparton City Council, Goulburn Valley Orchestra, Euroa Cinema volunteers, Nagambie Waterways Lifestyle Village and Nagambie Mechanics Institute.
