About the Role:

Join a supportive, customer-focused team at Strathbogie Shire Council as our Rates and Revenue Officer.

In this role, you will deliver professional and responsive support to the Finance Department, with a primary focus on Rates and Revenue. You will also play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of Council’s rating database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with maintaining all facets of Council’s property and rating databases.
  • Process supplementary valuations and rates ensuring compliance with Council policy and other relevant legislation.
  • Provide assistance as required to the Council Valuer in the administration of revaluation and supplementary valuation processes.
  • Provide support and assistance to senior officers and team members as appropriate.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Is proficient in Word processing, Excel spreadsheet and database management.
  • Has data entry experience, analytical capability and high-level accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Has excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
