We invite you all to come along to VAMPS GATHERING of ARTISTS and CREATIVES at SHADFORTH RESERVE VIOLET TOWN ON 19th NOVEMBER AT 6.30 pm. VAMP is calling artists to come share an evening, meet others, bounce around collaborative ideas, lots of conversation, a warming fire, a shared meal and some networking.
If you can, please bring a plate to share, and if you care to, please invite another artist or two, it might be your grandmother or your eight year old nephew. It will be grand to have a lot of artists together round a fire. At the gathering we will also be talking about projects to collaborate on.
Sim and Kate have proposed a fantastic idea. The idea is this…. (in Sim’s words) “We’d like us all to have an exhibition in the Strathbogie hall next winter, it will be a Friday, Saturday and Sunday opening, followed by a month’s residency in Violet Town.”
Over the next six months we will send out a monthly mail, some ideas and musings around the topic. Hopefully by June next year we have a brilliant and beautiful exhibition that stretches all our imaginings. This is open to all, to spoken word and music and paint and bent metal and sculpture, photography etc.….anything
