Morning tea at The Falls
Join Strathbogie Shire Council as it hosts a free morning tea to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8 from 10am to 12.30pm.
The event will be held in the picturesque setting ‘The Falls‘ at 142 Longwood-Gobur Rd, Longwood East.
Those in attendance will hear from guest speakers:
- Cr Laura Binks, Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor
- Dr Lauren Woodman, Founder Seven Sisters Festival
Buses are available from Nagambie and Euroa for $5. They will leave from the Black Caviar in Nagambie and McGuiness Street Car Park in Euroa at 9.15am.

An evening at Euroa Community Cinema
There will also be an opportunity to take in a free movie screening at the Euroa Community Cinema from 6pm on 8 March, 2023.
Hidden Figures (PG) is screening to celebrate International Women’s Day which showcases the incredible untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughn (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae) – brilliant women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in History: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanised the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.
