Farm Safe Kids

25 August, 2023 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Hosted by Gekco Clan Landcare Network
Friday 25th August; 10am to 12.30pm; Euroa Football Club Rooms, 2 Dunn St, Euroa
The safety of young children on the farm is a top priority for every landholder – mums, dads, grandparents – and anyone who spends time on rural properties with their families. Come along to our upcoming event which will present an opportunity to enhance your awareness of farm safety for kids.
Bookings essential by 21st August – https://events.humanitix.com/farm-safe-kids
We are pleased to welcome our guest presenters: Helen Jowett, Trauma Program Manager from the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, and Jessie Adams from the National Centre for Farmer Health. Jessie grew up on a beef farm in north east Victoria and has recently completed her PhD on child safety on farms.
Morning tea will be provided on arrival and will be an opportunity to connect with fellow attendees from the local community, as well as find out more about your local Landcare groups.
A free event – all welcome. We encourage parents and grandparents to bring your kids along to learn together in a family-friendly environment.

For more information and to reserve your spot, visit https://events.humanitix.com/farm-safe-kids or contact Claire Birch (Landcare Facilitator) on 0448 908 690 or landcare1@iinet.net.au.
We look forward to seeing you there!
This event is funded by the Victorian Landcare Grants Program, supported by the Goulburn Broken Catchment Management Authority on behalf of the Victorian State Government.
