About the Exhibition
Strathbogie Forest and Stream brings together a decade of photographs taken across the Strathbogie tablelands. Featuring landscapes, textures and quiet moments, the exhibition reflects the natural beauty of the region and Michael Flatt’s deep personal connection to the place he calls home.“I’ve selected my favourite images taken over ten years,” Michael says. “These works reflect the subjects I’m drawn to and my love of the Strathbogie tablelands.”Artbox’s return to Euroa marks its third visit and a welcome addition to the main street, offering residents, visitors and traders an accessible arts experience throughout March.
About the Artist
Michael Flatt first picked up a camera at age nine when gifted a Box Brownie by his father. More than 60 years later, he continues to focus on the forests, farms and waterways of the Strathbogie tablelands. His work highlights subtle detail—texture, form and the quieter moments in the landscape. All photographs in this exhibition were captured on the Tablelands.
