U3A Euroa & District

U3A – the University of the Third Age – is an international organisation of volunteers devoted to healthy and productive ageing providing learning activities to members.
University: in the original sense, describes a community sharing knowledge. (there are no formal qualifications or degrees given).
Third Age: refers to active retirees or semi-retired people who want to continue learning in an informal environment and share in social activities.
U3A Euroa and District Inc is an affiliate of U3A Network Victoria. Since our establishment in 2013 we have substantially expanded our membership and offerings of courses and activities.
There is a small annual membership fee but no cost to members to participate in specific activities or courses. Courses and activities may be held once, a few times, or run throughout the year on a weekly, bi-monthly or monthly basis. Our current offering includes Art Appreciation, Astronomy, Australian Literature, Games Group, Mahjong, Philosopher’s Forum and Weekly Walks.
