Bush Nippers makes a splash at Lake Nagambie this Summer!

Strathbogie Shire Council is thrilled to announce that Bush Nippers is coming to Lake Nagambie this January!

Bush Nippers is a unique inland adaptation of the popular coastal nippers program, designed to teach children aged 5 to 14 years essential lifesaving and water safety skills in open water environments.

Program Details:

  • Dates: Wednesday 21 – Friday 23 January 2026
  • Location: Lake Nagambie – Regatta Centre, Furlong Cove
  • Sessions: One 2-hour session each day (9:30am – 11:30am)
  • Cost: $10 per participant – open to Strathbogie Shire residents only
  • Celebration lunch: The final session includes lunch for all children

Numbers are limited – register now to avoid disappointment.

This program is proudly supported by Strathbogie Shire Council and jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments through Emergency Recovery Victoria’s Recovery Hub Program, in response to the October 2022 floods.
