Council is reminding residents that there is significant rainfall predicted for the area over the coming days, particularly for the Euroa and Violet Town areas.

Council is getting well prepared for the predicted flooding event and we are encouraging residents to do the same. There are several useful resources that can help you make sure you have taken all the steps needed to protect your property from flooding.

We encourage you to visit the VicSES website for handy tips and information on flood preparation.

The VicEmergency website gives timely flood and severe weather warnings. Download the app or visit the website to stay up to date with warnings and advice on whether you need to evacuate.

Finally, Council’s website and social media will be updated with any important information for community members as the situation evolves.
