Youth Drugs and Alcohol Advice

YoDAA is Victoria's Youth Drug and Alcohol service. YoDAA provides the simplest way to access infromation and support about Youth AOD needs. For youth AOD advice call YoDAA on 1800 458 685 24hr free service.


 DirectLine 1800 888 236

DirectLine is a key component of Victoria's State-wide alcohol and drug network. It complements a network of treatment and support services in the community through the provision of multiple, immediate responses to people affected by alcohol and drug issues.

It provides;

  • Information, counselling and referral around alcohol and drug issues
  • An immediate and highly accessible alcohol and drug response service, especially to populations in remote areas
  • Access to a 24/7 service
  • Brief interventions within a harm minimization framework to prevent or reduce problems associated with drug use
  • An anonymous and confidential service


Taking Action, Stopping ICE

The Victorian Government is taking action to stop the drug ice from ruining lives and have developed The Ice Action Plan (released on 5 March 2015) A copy of the plan can be downloaded from their website.

The website provides various information on the initiatives being taken to tackle the problem.

There is also a new ice help line called 1800 ICE ADVICE (1800 423 238) for people concerned about their own ice use, families struggling to cope and health professionals looking for advice. 


 REACH OUT is Australia’s leading online youth mental health service that is accessed by more than 4,500 people every day. It is an online service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing practical information, tools and support to young people for everyday troubles to really tough times. Designed and delivered by youth for youth.


HEADSPACE Shepparton

Headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds.

The service is designed to make it easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the help they need for problems affecting their wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.
