Working for Victoria Jobs Live
Working for Victoria Jobs are now live
Strathbogie Shire Council’s Working for Victoria jobs are now open for applications.
The 43 jobs, funded by the Victorian Government’s Working for Victoria initiative, will support our community in areas such as planning and assets, information technology, communications, project management, maintenance and repairs, community engagement initiatives, cleaning and much more.
Strathbogie Shire Mayor Cr Amanda McClaren urged those who were looking for work and wanted to help the community get back on its feet to register their interest today.
“The $500 million Working for Victoria program is part of the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic and includes matching people who have lost their job with work,” Cr McClaren said.
“We welcome this fantastic stimulus package, and these 43 six-month roles, that will help our community towards recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. We’re excited to be involved and we’re looking for people with the skills and passion for community engagement and community projects.”
