Local Government Victoria consulting on Rates Valuation Averaging Mechanism

Local Government Victoria (LGV) is seeking feedback from the public regarding the application of a Local Government Rates Valuation Averaging Mechanism.

It comes after the Final Report of the 2020 Local Government Rating Review recommended the Victorian Government consider the benefits of a Valuation Averaging Mechanism to mitigate the impact of significant changes in property valuations on rates.
