Euroa Community Cinema expected to reopen in November
Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, screenings at the Euroa Community Cinema are expected to resume in November.
The current timetable has been postponed due to the restrictions which allow for only 20 people to be in the facility.
Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Cr Chris Raeburn said Council must adhere to the regulations, put in place by the Victorian Government.
“We know it is a difficult time and we hope to be able to bring some of the movies that would have been shown during this time later in the year,” Cr Raeburn said.
“We thank the community for its ongoing patience because we know it is disappointing when local events cannot go ahead.”
There will be some special free screenings taking place during Seniors Festival in early October which will be capped according to restrictions.
