National Disability Insurance Scheme Info Session

Wednesday, 18 July, 2018

People living with an Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or family members and carers of people on the Autism Spectrum are invited to attend an information session about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The information session will take place at the Euroa Council Chambers Conference Room on Wednesday, 25 July from 10am-12pm.

It will be hosted by AMAZE (formally Autism Victoria), in conjunction with the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Strathbogie Shire Council, to provide information and advice about the commencement of the NDIS from 1 January 2019 and how this will change the way disability services are accessed.

Carmel Topp, NDIS Community Engagement Officer at AMAZE will be presenting the information session.

Strathbogie Shire’s Rural Access Officer, Kathryn Foster said this will be the first of many opportunities for people to access information about the NDIS.

“AMAZE is just the first agency to visit, but we will see sessions for carers, mental health and many more in the coming months so keep your eyes out in the local newspapers and Council’s website and social media, or you can give me a call,” Ms Foster explained.

“The information that will be provided in this session is going to be quite general; it is not just applicable for those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, so we encourage anyone who is keen to know more about the NDIS to come along.”

To register please contact Kathryn Foster by calling 0407 839 323, or emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
