Strathbogie Shire Council uses "SmartyGrants" for all Community Funding applications.
SmartyGrants is the most-used grantmaking system in Australia. The system manages the flow of hundreds of millions of dollars in grants annually and handles more than 350,000 forms per year (a figure that's growing all the time). SmartyGrants meets all grantmaker software industry benchmarks. Using SmartyGrants for our Community Funding builds our communities knowledge and capacity of this program which will build capacity for groups to apply for other grants available from other organisations.
In order to enable you to fill out the form you must first have an account with SmartyGrants. You only require an email address and chosen password to create an account. Your account details are used solely for the purpose of enabling you to complete your application form. Once you have registered an account, you will use the same email and password for any additional applications you may create in the future using SmartyGrants.
It is preferred, if possible, to use the email of your group if you have one. This way anyone from your community group can access the system to work on the applications. It also ensures if officer bearers change that the access to the system remains with the group.
If you forget your sign in details then you will need to contact SmartyGrants directly to reset.
