Take care to remember that:
1. The list of people authorised to witness Statutory Declarations is different from the list of people authorised to receive an Affidavit
2. It is the responsibility of the person requiring the Statutory Declaration or Affidavit, to establish the level of authority required for that specific documentation
3. It is a criminal offence to make a false Statutory Declaration or Affidavit
