Emma Kubeil - ManagEmma Kubeil 2er Sustainable Development

Emma commenced employment at Strathbogie Shire Council in 2007 in the role of Student Planner. Having worked in small business within the real estate industry for 13 years, this put her in good stead to understand property use and development. Completion of a Graduate Diploma in Environment and Planning and Diploma of Management allowed Emma to pursue many opportunities within the organisation to continue to develop her skills. Now Manager Sustainable Development, Emma is continually looking to create efficiencies and promote good development to support and promote the Shire through events and tourism in delivering economic development. Emma's portfolio within Sustainable Development includes Town Planning, Events, Tourism, Economic Development, Planning Compliance and Environment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Greg Underhill - MaGreg Underhillnager ICT

Greg commenced with the Strathbogie Shire in 2011 and was promoted from ICT Coordiantor to Manager ICT in 2015. Greg's portfolio includes Information Technology, Records Management and Geographic Information Systems. Greg has 18 years' experience working in IT, with Council being his first Local Government appointment. Greg has qualifications in IT, Management, Local Government, IT Service Management and Emergency Operations. Greg is responsible for delivering the ICT Strategy and ensuring alignment with the Council Plan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bruce Braines - MBruce Brainesanager Assets

Bruce has filled the role of Manager Assets with Strathbogie Shire Council since October 2014 and has more than 25 years experience with a number of other municipalities. He has a Diploma of Civil Engineering and a Graduate Diploma of Municipal Engineering and Management.

 

 

 

 

  

 

Deb EllisDebra Ellis - Manager Liveability

Debra commenced with the Strathbogie Shire in May 2009 as a Customer Service Officer for what was then the Community Services department. Since then, she has had a number of roles within Council, including; Roster Coordination, Youth Coordinator and Children, Youth and Families Coordinator. She was promoted into the role of Manager Liveability in 2016, which includes the following programs; Maternal and Child Health, Access and Inclusion, Youth, Community Grants and Community Planning. Debra has a long history of working directly with people having come from the Community Services sector. Her strengths include community engagement, community development, communication, strategic planning/implementation and policy development/review. Debra has a Diploma of Management (completed with Proteus Leadership) and is a graduate of the Fairley Leadership Program in 2011. She is currently undertaking a Diploma in Human Resources Management at Swinburne University.
