The Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) Program was run in Euroa in October 2008. One of the outcomes of this project was to hold a buy local campaign to encourage local people to buy local.

So ENJOY EUROA - MEET GREET EAT & SHOP will commence on Saturday 25 July 2009 and will finish on 3 April 2010.

All you have to do is: -

Spend over $15 in Euroa for a chance to win some fantastic prizes donated by the businesses of Euroa.

Prize Draw One - Saturday 3 October 2009
Prize Draw Two - Monday 21 December 2009
Prize Draw Three - Saturday 23 January 2010

PRIZE DRAW ONE

Saturday 3 October saw the first of the four draws for the Enjoy Euroa Buy Local campaign.

The winning ticket was drawn outside the post office from the boot of a brand new Holden VE Commodore which was kindly donated for the occasion by Andrew Burke of Thompson Motor Group.

Councillors Colleen Furlanetto and Mick Williams were in attendance for the draw and the winner was Mrs B Harris from Euroa.

Mrs Harris said "I heartily support shopping locally in Euroa and I am surprised and pleased to win today. I would also like to thank all the sponsors of the prizes."

Mrs Harris won the following prizes, kindly donated by the businesses of Euroa: -
* 1 week of bread from Euroa Hot Bread
* Meal for two at the Seven Creeks Hotel
* $150 rug from Thomson Carpet Choice
* 2 bottles of wine from Glenmar Wines
* $50 manicure from Gem Stones Health & Beauty
* Family pass of V-Line tickets from Wrights Bargains
* 1 hour workshop labour from SJ Rural Engineering
