| Lake Closures During Events | | Council, as the boating authority, is empowered with the responsibility of managing activities on Lake Nagambie. Lake Nagambie is the venue for a number of regular and other water-based events each year. Many of these events are of a nature requiring controlled water or are of significant size, thus warranting closure of the Lake to general boating.
In order to ensure the best utilisation of the Lake facilities for all users and to provide wider benefits to the community, Lake closure for formal organised events is desirable.
